KidOK ("we", "us", or "our") provides tools to help parents evaluate whether media content is suitable for their children. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the KidOK mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

When you use KidOK, certain information is processed to provide safety analysis and operate the service.

a) Safety Check Requests

When you request a safety check, the following information may be processed:

• Show or movie titles you submit
• Images submitted for content identification
• Child context used for analysis (such as age and selected sensitivities)

To operate the service and enforce usage limits, limited request data may be stored on our servers, including:

• Timestamp of requests

Images are processed only for identification purposes and are not permanently stored.

b) Anonymous Install Token

The app generates an anonymous installation token used to:

• Track available safety checks
• Enforce usage limits
• Prevent abuse of the service

This token does not identify you personally and is not linked to real-world identity.

c) Subscription Status

If you subscribe to Premium features, subscription status information may be stored to enable Premium access.

All payments and billing information are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store payment details.

2. Information Stored Only on Your Device

The following information remains stored locally on your device:

• Child profiles
• Local history of checks
• App preferences

This data is not uploaded to our servers. Removing the app deletes this local information.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide safety analysis results
• Enforce usage limits
• Improve service reliability and quality
• Prevent abuse or misuse of the service

We do not sell personal data.

4. Third-Party Processing

KidOK relies on third-party AI services to generate safety analysis. These services process request data temporarily to produce responses but do not receive personal identity information.

5. Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and improve features. Analytics do not include personal identity data or child profile details.

6. Advertising

KidOK does not display third-party advertisements.

7. Data Retention

Check results and usage records may be retained for operational purposes and service improvement. Data may be periodically cleaned or anonymized.

8. Children's Privacy

KidOK is designed for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect information transmitted to our servers.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website.
